We stopped writing changelogs after August 2025. We did not stop shipping. This covers what landed between then and the end of the year, and the headline item is one most people never see directly but feel on every large table.
Enrichment status moved to the cell
Statuses used to live at the row level. If a row failed, you knew the row failed, not which step inside it. Databar now records status per cell.
That fixes debugging, but the bigger consequence is throughput: because each cell tracks its own state, multiple enrichments can run in parallel on the same table. On a wide table with several enrichments attached, that is the difference between sequential waiting and one pass.
A detail view for wide rows
Click a cell and open View row, and the full record opens in a side panel instead of making you scroll sideways through forty columns. It is the pattern you know from Linear or Asana, and it is the fastest way to read an AI output or work out why an automation did what it did.
Sending data between tables
A row can now be sent from one table to another. Multi-step workflows stop living in one enormous sheet: source data in one table, enrichment output appended to another, kept cleanly apart. Single-row sends today, with more to come.
AI that sets itself up
Describe what you want and Databar drafts the prompt, for both the AI Researcher and custom AI prompt enrichments. The model lineup behind those features was refreshed at the same time.
Column references can also be marked required. If a required column is empty the enrichment does not run, which stops half-formed inputs reaching a model and costing you a credit to produce nothing.
Waterfalls that verify
Email finder waterfalls gained three verifiers. Each checks whether the address that came back is valid, and if it is not, the chain falls through to the next provider instead of handing you a bounce.
Smaller, still useful
Add as many rows as you want at once, at the top or bottom, instead of ten at a time
Custom API connectors accept PATCH and PUT alongside GET and POST
Map a column straight to a nested JSON value, without expanding the JSON first
Run conditions apply whether you run one row or all of them
Formulas and JSON tools no longer consume actions, because they call nothing external
Account and workspace settings were consolidated into one full-screen page
About Databar
