The old credit system had no ledger behind it. Most of the time that was invisible, but when it went wrong it went wrong in both directions: credits deducted with no data returned, or data returned with no credits deducted. Neither is acceptable in something you are billed for.

Every credit is now tracked

We spent a month rebuilding credits from the ground up. Each one is now recorded with the kind of traceability you would expect from a bank ledger, which means a credit can be followed from the run that spent it back to the row it enriched. Workspace-level credit analytics build on the same ledger, so you can see where a month went rather than guessing.

Unused credits roll over

Monthly plans now carry unused credits into the next month automatically. Rolled-over credits stay valid for one additional month before they expire, which keeps a slow month from being a write-off without letting balances pile up forever.

A worked example. You are on a 1,000 credit monthly plan and use 200 in month one. The remaining 800 roll over, so month two opens with 1,800.

Quarterly and annual plans work differently, because they already grant the full allowance upfront: 3,000 credits for a quarter, 12,000 for a year, expiring at the end of the term or at renewal.

Add-ons follow your billing cycle

Credit add-ons used to expire on their own schedule, which produced two clocks running at once. They now align with the subscription underneath them. On monthly plans they roll over for one extra month like base credits. On quarterly and annual plans they last as long as the cycle they were bought in.
