Don't be realistic, be delusional. He's making over $10 million per year with his businesses. We took it from 10,000 a month, doing about $30 million in revenue. I sat down with Renee at his penthouse and office in Miami where we talked about his story, biggest lessons, and advice, and how to replicate his success. My biggest ROI activities is just I know you're going to get a ton of value. So, make sure you watch until the end. Life hack number one, don't do your own laundry. Yo yo, what's up? What up, dude? How's it going? Good to see you. All right, let's see the spot. Yeah, man. Come check it out. This is uh my penthouse here. We are in a beautiful Miami, Florida. The second you walk in, you have these big, beautiful double doors, but then you have like just glass all the way across. So, like, as you guys look here, this is kind of our living room. You have a like a crazy view of the ocean over there. We have the uh little Lambo for my baby. And as you go this way, you have our our dining room table and then my own personal bar. We have the the kitchen. This is probably my my favorite part cuz you have these big like 20 30 ft ceilings going all the way up. You have the outdoor living room. Uh we actually got this entire balcony turf. This place is about 7,000 ft². 2,000 outside, 5,000 inside. Once you go this way, you'll actually see this east wing, west wing of the house. This is the east wing of the house. So, we have a little guest bedroom. And then my own personal room. This is the the my the part of the house where no one touches it. This is my man cave. This is my my home office, my trophy case. Here are some of the the my biggest accomplishments. This was a I don't have that. You have that? Yeah, I got that. Okay. Amazing. That's sick. Really? Yeah. So, this was the the first product that made me rich. One of my biggest first clients. Um, we were featured all over the world. We were on Joe Rogan. This thing called a So, right. Look up the So, right. Literally lay on that thing. That company, we took it from making 10,000 a month to doing about $30 million in revenue. You go down the hallway and this is kind of like my my workstation. So, this is where I work from when I'm at home. We have a little sauna here, you know? So if I need to jump in the sun, I got a sauna, the whiteboard where we do all the business stuff. My uh office has its own private balcony. It it really it's really cool cuz it gives you like the the scale of the entire like apartment. So if you look on that side, like that's where we were at. That's all kind of like mine as well. So it it's pretty insane. That's like 100 ft away. You got crazy views of the ocean. Like it it's it's pretty sick. I got all these cool things. So Iron Man thing, but also this is a real working Iron Man laser. Wow. So I can burn things like I can it's it's rich people stuff. this home office. Again, I have all my equipment here. When I work, I I'll do content and stuff. You can make millions of dollars with this simple setup. I use a laptop. That's it. This is all I need to make millions of dollars. How'd you get started with entrepreneurship? I grew up I was a broke kid. I was uh just kind of looking at different ways to make money, little side hustles, and I found social media marketing. It was something that you could start with no money. I just started exploring it and learning how to do it. And then eventually, I started helping businesses with their social media. And at first, it wasn't for a lot. It was for $2,000 a month, 25,500 bucks a month, but uh it gave me kind of like a vehicle to then be able to like take it to the next level. So 7 years later, here we are and uh it's blown up quite a bit. So how's your life changed since you started making significant money? My family gets to be taken care of. My I retired my mom, my brother works for me now. So like it almost feels like I've changed everyone's life around me. It's not just myself, which is amazing. It's the best feeling in the world. you talked about how you grew up poor and I think a lot of people they might be thinking oh if you start up poor you you can't get rich what would you tell them a big limiting belief is that you need money to make money right and that's the case in some businesses like obviously like I bought a hotel you're not going to be able to buy a hotel with no money but you can start a service-based business you could start a business that that requires low overhead and that'll allow you to start making money which then eventually turns into something big can you take us through some of like the toughest points in your entrepreneurial journey so far my mom was very judgment mental. I don't blame her. We we it kind of like strained our relationship like growing up cuz I felt like she didn't believe in me. But it was more so that she just wanted the best for me and it sucks when it's like your only especially as a single mom like it's your only like source of support and they don't believe in you. So you feel really isolated. You feel really alone and when the world's judging you already for trying to start a business and the person that's supposed to be like providing you all the love you get in your life is supposed to help you starting a business. Yeah. It it sucks. The judgment from people around you is probably one of the most difficult parts when it comes to starting a business. Now can you take us through the timeline? like how long did it take for you to actually start to make some money? I started 2017, the business made no money for the entire year. 2018 was when it really started picking up cuz I started getting my first clients. What's really cool about like internet businesses, it almost feels like there's nothing and then in the blink of an eye you're making a bunch of money. It happens like all at once. So, what was the turning point for you? When I landed my first client, they paid me. I remember cuz this is like a a big thing for me. Big deal. $2,500. Now, I was working a 9 toive job at the time. I'm like, is this real? This is crazy. It was almost like what I made from my job, but I made it on my own. Once I got that first payment, something like snapped in my head where I was like, "Let me just go look for other clients." And three weeks later, I found another one. A month after that, I found another one. Before you know it, like I quit my job. It was like 60 days later, I'm making about $7 or $8,000 a month. By the end of the year, I was doing like $30,000 a month. Can you tell me a little bit more about your businesses? Three businesses. The first one that made me a millionaire was social media marketing. So that's when you help businesses, let's say restaurants, that's when you help them advertise on social media. I'm the guy that sets those up for these businesses. I also have a a software company. When I was getting started in social media marketing, it was hard for me to find businesses, do my research. It would take me hours. We made an AI software company that helps find all of these businesses for you. And it just like makes your life 100 times easier, makes money 100 times easier. Third business is information education. I teach people how to do it. But we go take it a step further. We actually franchise out our our marketing agency. I was like, you know what? What if we just like let you franchise the business? That way we'll do all the work for you. We have a big team, big office. We'll let you use kind of like our like portfolio and it'll help you like close deals, land clients, make some more money. And then people loved it. So, I have like two more passive businesses, which is real estate and like hospitality. I just bought a hotel in Mexico and I have a couple apartment complexes. Would you be willing to share some numbers? So, 2018 I made 900,000. 2019 I made about 3 million. 2020 I made a million. 2021 I made about a million again. 22 we did about 2 million. and then 23 3 million and then 2024 is really like my breakout year where the business is really kind of like we finally figured it out and we did about 9.8 I like to say 10 million. Wow. Where did that income come from? 2024 we we launched the software. We got to about $1.5 million and then the marketing agency brought in another 45 million of that and then we made about a million through info education and then all the other investments. So I hope you're getting a ton of value from this video so far. Renee really is a smart entrepreneur. Now, I want to take a quick second and tell you about the sponsor of this video, Omnisend. They are my go-to platform for email marketing. And hot take, I think emails are the most underrated thing in 2025. Every entrepreneur should be sending out emails because one, you get $68 back for every $1 spent on emails. Two, it's the only platform where you own your audience. And then three, one of my main goals this year was to send out way more emails. Why? Because it makes you more money. Now, if you have a business, I think you should try Omnisend to send emails to your clients and customers. To show you what it looks like, here I am on my dashboard, and here are some of the pre-built automations that are available. I've loved using their platform, and I'll leave a link below where you can get 30% off your first 3 months. Now, if you're looking for a business to start, yes, an email marketing agency could be great, just like SMMA, and you can run your entire business using Omniscent. I know guys making millions per year from their email agencies, and so I know it's doable. Some more quick facts about Omnisense. One, you get SMS capability. Two, you get tons of templates. Three, they have tons of automations. And that basically means you have all the tools and designs without needing an actual team. It's pretty much turnkey. Anyways, I'll leave a link down below to check them out. And that's going to work whether you want to start an agency, e-commerce store, a newsletter, whatever it is. Yes, there's a free plan, but also don't forget to use code Charlie Chain to get 30% off any paid plan. And now back to the video. Let's talk about some of the mistakes you made along the journey. I didn't start because I didn't feel like I knew what I was doing. And the issue with that is it's like this cycle where you don't know what you're doing. So, you don't start. And because you don't start, you never learn. And you're just constantly like in this process of like before you know it, you're 40 years old and you still haven't started even though you've always wanted to. Starting is half the battle. If you start, at least it's in motion, right? Can you take us through the social media marketing playbook? Like what would you do starting right now from scratch? The first thing I would do, I would use AI to find all of the businesses in my area. I would then use that same software to then contact all these businesses for me, right? Because that's what I do now. So, I would find a list of all these businesses around me, do all my research on them. Uh, I would contact all of them via email, just offering to help them with social media. Realistically, like it's a numbers game. So, if I contact a,000 businesses, let's say I might get maybe 70 to 80 replies. Let's say eight or nine of them say yes, and they're going to give me a try. They're going to pay me a,000, $2,000, $3,000 a month. But when you look at the scale of that, eight different businesses paying you $2,000 a month, it's still $16,000 a month. The hard part with that it comes to like learning the skill and that's kind of like what I I teach people on my social media now. I do like free trainings and stuff. The skill itself actually running these ads for the businesses. You don't want to like charge a business and then not know what you're doing, right? So realistically, how long does it take to learn the marketing skills? You could get really good in like 2 to 3 weeks. You'll learn enough to be dangerous. Like you're not going to be an expert. You're not going to be able to have these $20,000 clients, but you'll get good enough to help a business and maybe get paid a,000 2,000 a Have you used social media for like your own education, network, stuff like that? Yes. I've hired so many people with college degrees and they're always the worst because they come in with like, well, I know this cuz I learned it in college. I'm like, that's not how it works in real life. I would much rather take someone that's fresh, have them watch YouTube videos on the topic because they can learn so much more and all the stuff they learn is actually applicable to real life. Did you go to college? I didn't. I'm a college dropout. Why'd you drop out? Sound crazy. I feel like I'm special. I feel like I'm like chosen and I could be wrong. I could be the Lulu. I remember going to college, you know, talk to people about their goals. I want to be a pediatrician. I'm like, cool. Why? Cuz I want to make money. I'm like, this is this is a great calling. You know, if you loved like kids and you wanted to do it for your passion, great. But like to make money, that's the wrong way to go about it. And it's like I would go to class and I would just sit near these people all day and it would just kill me. I'm like, I'm not going to become one of these people. All right. So, give me some unconventional advice. Don't be realistic. Be delusional because that delusion is going to carry you to wherever you need to go. Do you have any life hacks? Life hack number one. Don't do your own laundry. Hire someone to do it. Don't do your own cleaning. Don't do your own cooking. Get someone to do all this stuff for you. Like my wife is very like humble in a sense where she says, "Well, we can cook at home and save money." I'm like, "My love, how why do we need to save money? We make millions of dollars." If your goal is to make money, don't do anything you don't like. Outsource it. Let other people do it. And then use your time to be productive. I think the reason that people like when they hear this advice, they get they get crazy is because they're undervaluing their time. Buy back your time. Buy back your time. Buy back your time. How much money per month do you spend on services like housekeeping, cooking, stuff like that? There's four staff members just for the penthouse. Housekeeper, we have a chef, we have a nanny, and we have a masseuse. We probably spend $5 to $6,000 a month. Probably closer to 12,000 with the nanny. Nanny. Okay. Super worth it. Super worth it. The time you save not having to worry about this stuff is actually like you get more brain power, you function more effectively, and you're able to just accomplish a lot more. What does your team look like right now? We have 14 employees all in house, eight sales guys that close all these deals. Okay. We have four or five guys that work on the agency stuff and then I have my own personal content team of like two or three guys as well. And we have an operations director. We have an executive team, sales manager, operations director. So, uh, what does your current tech stack look like? What softwares are you using? Too many. So, we use Clickfunnels, Active Campaign, SMM DeFinder, which is our AI software, Simple Texting, Google Ads. So, I don't know if those are software, but the platforms, Zapier, we use Hyros, Air Table, Webinar Jam. I think we use those. Those are like the big software. Those are the biggest ones we use. And the thing about software is like the more you make the more it costs. So like we're spending about 12 to 15,000 a month just on software. [Music] Tell us about the hotel deal. Uh PE firm came to me. They uh were acquiring this hotel. I looked at the hotel. It's like a landmark hotel. It's been architectural digest. It's in uh Mexico next to the pyramids. So I was like this is actually a really cool deal. I could get in for half a million dollars. 16% cash on cash return which is unheard of for any any investment. get all of the numbers up, all the optics, and then eventually just sell it. What are you doing for taxes? I have a really good like uh accountant, tax strategist. They handle all this stuff for me, and they give me all of the loopholes. They let me buy cars. This year, I think at the end of the year, I want to buy a plane. Cool. Guys, welcome to the office. I want to show one one thing. Look at this. My name on an office door is so cool. Once you walk in, this is uh our second office. We grew out of our first one. You have two of my companies right here, Lacod Consulting, which is the the marketing advertising firm, and then the software company, SMM Dealffinder. Uh, we got a really big boardroom right here. This entrance wing, this is kind of like our our advertising wing. Again, we're here on a weekend, so not everyone's in here, but this is our creative director's office. As we go this way, we have research and development, and this is where they handle all the software stuff. Um, they look at all of our analytics. We have our editing room. So, our editor is in here. We also like to have fun, so we have a lounge in here as well, right? And this is one of those perks that they get. Once they make a certain amount, they can come and hang out in the lounge. No way. We usually have a full stock bar in here in the lounge, Nintendo Switch, so they can play games. We have a hookah going. So, if the guys come in here, they want to hang out. You got to motivate people, man. You got to motivate them. You got to let them know that the money's out there. They just got to go get it. This is the sales flow right here. Like I said, a majority of our of my staff are salespeople. They're closing all of these social media deals for us. These guys are just there dialing all day, looking for new clients for us, looking for new business, cuz each one of these deals could potentially be 50, 60, $70,000 per year. How much are they making? One of my guys, he's 21 years old. He's making like 12 grand a month on average for the year. I'm like, "Bro, you're making an average of like 12 grand a month." And he's like, "I need more." Part of like one of the the coolest parts about having the office is that I get to take kids who were working at Starbucks or Sunglass Hut, and introduce them to the internet, sales, marketing, where they're able to make 10, 12, $15,000 a month. Stuff that they don't really tell you is possible elsewhere, they're able to do it here. So, I want this to be like an environment where not only do they have fun, but they're able to like make money, feel at home, be happy. I changed my life, but I also changed theirs. And it's a great feeling. Kitchen right here. So they make all their lunches, fridge, all that. Dart board like Yeah. So we had uh we actually have one of my guys in here right now working on us deals, which is crazy. Saturday I walked in, I was like, "Why is the door unlocked?" But he was in here. So But that's the that's the kind of like culture you want to build. I'm assuming the energy in here gets crazy sometimes, right? It's it's like full-blown like Wolf of Wall Street. So people are like selling, they're closing deals, they're saying like offthe-wall, jumping around, they're like trying to like touch the board, they're playing ping pong. What are some changes you implemented in your business uh recently that have made a big difference? We're experimenting with like price points. People think that like if they choose a price, it's going to be the best one, but you don't know. At the end of the day, you have to listen to your customer. And a big part of that is like what do they have an appetite for? As CEO, what are the highest ROI activities you do? My biggest ROI activities is just mainly decisions. When I first start a business, I thought that hey, I have to be in there 12 hours a day grinding it out. In the beginning, it works. But once your business gets big enough, my job is no longer grinded out 12 hours, but I'm going to be thinking about what is the the best decision I can make for this company. little decisions, but the best ones possible. How do you stay up to date on trends and like info and learning? When I'm on social media, I'm not doom scrolling and just kind of like, haha, funny. I'm like looking, I'm kind of like, oh, it's interesting what they're doing here. And I'll scroll and I'll like analyze each thing I'm looking at. So, there's nothing wrong with being on social media. Like I said, it changed the world, changed my life, but there's a purpose to it. If you could go back 10 years, what would you tell your 19-year-old self? Most of the time, people say, "Oh, I need the information. I need the tools. I need the resources." That's never the reason why people don't become successful. Most of the time, it's just because they're not doing enough. Literally, just start. Take massive action. Start making calls, start sending emails, start doing as much as you can because that's the fastest way you're going to get good. You're going to get experience and you're going to get better. What resources do you have that could maybe help the audience if they want to start making money? We do a free training. I teach you exactly about my business, how it works. That way, you have the ins and outs. I also have my AI software. So, let's say you're already doing social media, you want to take it to the next level. We have an AI software that you can use that helps you find all of these businesses, do all the research, contact them using AI, get responses. It automates a lot of the tasks for you so that you're able to make more money, right? And where can people find you on social media? You guys can find me at Renee Lod across all social medias. Dude, thank you so much. It's been amazing. Of course, brother. Thanks for coming out, dude. Thank you. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the video. I know for a fact that everyone of you watching can leave inspired or at least with some golden nuggets on how to build your dream life. Anyways, I appreciate you guys for sticking around and I'll see you in the next video. Peace.
