Overview
Search all Reddit submissions and posts using key words and filters such as title, author, subreddit name, and others. This API is perfect for getting data from Reddit without having to spend time on manual data entry or complex scrapers.
Parameters that you can search Reddit by include:
- Post id's
- Search terms (key words)
- Excluded words - search for posts that don't contain specific words or phrases
- Key words in title
- Authors - restrict results to specific Reddit users & authors
- Start and end dates - filter for specific dates using 'After' and 'Before' dates
- Number of comments: find posts that only have a specific number of comments
- Video: restrict to posts that include a video or image
- Over 18: only find posts that include NSFW or SFW content
You can also sort results by score, number of comments, and created date.
