Overview
Get a list of all stock splits that happened over any given time period. The stock split calendar includes the numerator, denominator, and exact date of the split. Stock splits are a way for publicly traded companies to improve stock liquidity. Companies increase the number of shares outstanding, which lowers the stock price, however, the number of shares outstanding can also be reduced, increasing the stock price. The value of a company does not change as a result of a stock split.
