Overview
Returns the average PE ratio across industries within a stock exchange and date. The PE ratio is calculated by grouping companies within a stock exchange by their industries. This endpoint is updated on a daily basis, allowing you to look back at historical data, going back up to 1 year. Divide the price by the earnings per share, or EPS, to get the price-to-earnings ratio, or PE. EPS can be obtained from financial statements and earnings calendar endpoints, while price can be obtained from the stock quote endpoint.
