We were on a 1.5 month marketing hiatus, working away on Databar.ai v2. And finally, we're excited to share with you our March release, which brings new Automations, Enrichments, a JSON expander, a new knowledge base, a revamped credit system, and many new data sources!

Automations 🤖

Automations let you schedule API requests so they run while you're gone! When you open up a dataset, click on the “Automations” tab, set the frequency, and click run!

Enrichments (Beta) 🖇️

Have a list of tickers you want to enrich with financial data? Or a list of emails you want to verify & validate? With the enricher that's a 20 second task! To use the enricher, click on “Enrich” in the data pane, upload your file, and click run! Easy as (a)pie. :)

JSON Expander 🪗

The difficulty with APIs is that their data schemas are not consistent. Many datasets have nested values that are hidden inside columns. With our new JSON expander you can flatten data structures and extract hidden values in a single click. 

Introducing credits 💰

To create a unified payment system for working with APIs, we introduced credits. Credits can be purchased and used to make requests to external data sources.

The new knowledge base 📖

Databar is currently in Beta and that means there are many unpolished features in the UI & unclear bits of functionality. If you have a question, the quickest way to answer it is through our new knowledge base. If you still can't find an answer, join the community on Discord (all questions answered!) or email us directly.
